The female body has always been explored in the arts. Fascination although we all have met one. The female body is strong, beautiful in all forms and often surprises us what it can do. We need to Cherice the female body. Not hide it.

In this sculpture I wanted to create a torso as hommage to the female body in all its beauty. A torso that also could stand by itself with its own weight. Like a woman should be able to stand on her own self. The Technik was tricky. But I made it. I have made four successful, but different, torsos. This is one of them.
